The Annual Academic Result Publication and Merit Award Ceremony of Serov Academy of Fine Arts was held on Saturday (10 January 2026), at 3:00 PM at the Academy’s Green Square Campus.
During the event, the academic results of students who participated in the half-yearly and annual examinations were published simultaneously for both the Green Square Campus and the Russian House in Dhaka (Dhanmondi).
As the afternoon progressed, the Green Square Campus transformed into a festive venue filled with excitement. Students arrived with art boxes and sketchboards, bringing a lively and joyful atmosphere to the program. With the announcement of results and the calling of names, the campus resonated with applause as students received their certificates and awards.
A special highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of meritorious students, who were honored with certificates, awards, and medals. According to the Academy authorities, the program was designed to acknowledge not only academic excellence but also dedication, discipline, and consistency in art practice.
The event was more than a result publication; it was a celebration of students’ creativity, learning, and year-long efforts. Reflecting on the impact of art education, one parent remarked, “Earlier my child spent more time playing mobile games. Now, he asks for paper and colors to draw. This change itself is a great achievement for us.”
In his concluding remarks, the Director of Serov Academy of Fine Arts congratulated the students and stated,“Art education is not merely about manual skills; it disciplines the mind, sensitizes vision, and makes individuals more humane.”
