Judge Zubair Rahman Chowdhury of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has taken oath as the 26th Chief Justice of the country.
President Md. Shahabuddin administered the oath to him at a ceremony held at the Durbar Hall of Bangabhaban this Sunday (December 28, 2025) morning.
Nobel laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government, was present at the swearing-in ceremony.
