A prayer meeting was held at Ward No. 14 of Bason Metro Police Station to pray for the good health, longevity and welfare of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and the party’s acting chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman.
Gazipur City Corporation Mayor Md. Mojibur Rahman, the candidate for Paddy Shesh in Gazipur-1 constituency, was present as the chief guest at the prayer meeting. At this time, he sought prayers from the countrymen for Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman and urged everyone to remain united in restoring democracy.
