British High Commissioner holds talks with NCP leaders ahead of upcoming elections in Bangladesh

As part of the UK’s ongoing dialogue with political parties ahead of the upcoming national elections in Bangladesh, British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke on Wednesday (November 12) held a courtesy call and discussions with National Citizens Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam and other top leaders.

The meeting discussed the UK-Bangladesh partnership, the democratic process, and ensuring free, fair and inclusive elections, the British High Commission said.
