The country’s largest maritime and offshore exhibition “7th BIMEX 2025” begins in Dhaka

The inaugural ceremony of the largest international maritime and offshore industry exhibition of Bangladesh “7th BIMEX 2025” was held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Kuril, Dhaka on Thursday (30 October 2025) organized by Saver International Limited.

Leading domestic and foreign maritime companies, investors, technologists and business delegations are participating in this exhibition focusing on shipbuilding, ship recycling, ship repair, marine engineering and offshore technology.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr. Rear Admiral Md. Musa, OSP, NPP, RCDS, FWC, PSC, PhD; Assistant Chief of the Navy (Operations), Bangladesh Navy.

Rear Admiral Md. Ziaul Haque, OSP, NDC, FWC, PSC; Director General, Bangladesh Coast Guard; Mr. Masud Ali Khan, Vice President, Bangladesh-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Edgars Dzenis, Director, Rigas Diesel DG; Captain Md. Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan, AFNI, Chairman, Group Nautica; Former Chairman, The Nautical Institute of Bangladesh; and Mr. Md. Faizul Alam, Managing Director, Sever International Limited.

The exhibition will showcase shipbuilding, ship recycling and repair technologies, port and logistics services, dredging equipment and the latest maritime innovations, as well as international B2B and B2G meetings, seminars and panel discussions, attended by top figures from Bangladesh and the international maritime industry.

The exhibition will be open to all visitors from 10 am to 7 pm daily from 30 October to 1 November 2025.
