Canadian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Ajit Singh visited the Chittagong Export Processing Zone (Chittagong EPZ) run by Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority (BEPZA).
Upon his arrival at Chittagong EPZ, he was welcomed by Executive Director Abdus Sobhan. He briefed the High Commissioner in detail about BEPZA’s investment-friendly environment, industrialization progress and the activities of the zone.
During the visit, High Commissioner Ajit Singh praised BEPZA’s success and said, “I am very optimistic that it will be possible to build a brighter future between our two countries. Long live the Canada-Bangladesh friendship.”
During the visit, he also visited the production facilities of Midas Safety Bangladesh Limited, a Canadian company located in Chittagong EPZ. The company produces high-quality hand gloves for industrial use.
