BFF and BGMEA Explore Collaboration to Enhance Bangladesh’s Global Image Through Football

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) have taken the initiative to work together to further boost Bangladesh’s brand image in the international arena through football.

On Tuesday (September 30, 2025), a delegation led by BFF Vice President Fahad Karim met with the BGMEA leadership in a courtesy call.

On behalf of BGMEA, Vice President (Finance) Mizan R. FPB, Directors Shah Rayed Chowdhury and Asef Kamal Pasha, Chairman of BGMEA’s Standing Committee on Sports Md. Sajjad Ali Khan, Co-Chair Akbar Haider Munna and Co-Chair Kazi Nazmul Hasan were present in the meeting.

On the other hand, BFF Competition Committee Member Tajwar Awal, Managing Director of KAC Fashion Wear Limited and BFF Official Kit Partner Abid Alam Chowdhury were present.

During the meeting, both sides discussed several joint initiatives. These include increasing Bangladesh’s visibility through international football activities, organizing the ‘BGMEA Cup Football Tournament’ with the support of BFF at the National Stadium, and increasing opportunities for BGMEA members to participate in international football matches.

BFF and BGMEA representatives expressed their commitment to harness the power of football together to inspire the youth at the domestic and international levels, unite communities and build a positive global image of Bangladesh.
