Section 144 has been imposed in the municipal area of the district headquarters, as well as in Sadar Upazila and Guimara Upazila, following the violence in Khagrachari.
The situation in the entire district is tense on Monday (September 29). Law enforcement agencies are providing tight security in the city and suburbs.
