To this end, the BPSC recently organized a high-level event on fair, fast and transparent government recruitment process under the Swiss Embassy’s ‘Strengthening Institutions, Policies and Services (SIPS)’ project.

Speakers at the event said that giving more autonomy to the BPSC is very important to conduct the BCS exam on time and increase public trust.

Mr. Deepak Elmer, Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Cooperation at the Swiss Embassy, said,
“Switzerland is proud to be able to strengthen institutions in Bangladesh that build public trust and protect the dignity of merit.”

Through the SIPS project, which is being run with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Switzerland, initiatives are being taken to introduce digital tools in the BPSC, modernize the recruitment process, and establish a transparent and merit-based system.
