The closing ceremony of the ’10th Dhaka Bank Victory Day Cup Golf Tournament-2024′ was held at the Army Golf Club, Dhaka Cantonment on Friday (13 December 2024). Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, PSC was present as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners of the tournament. After the prize distribution, the chief guest delivered his valuable speech to all those present. The chief guest expressed his hope that organizing such a competition will play an important role in the development of the country’s golf field and thanked all those concerned for organizing this event.
A total of 788 golfers participated in this tournament. Major General Md. Masud Razzak (Retd) achieved the honor of becoming the champion in the tournament. In addition, Group Captain AIM Shahanul Islam (Retd) won the Veteran category, Colonel Nuruchchama (Retd) won the Senior category, Mrs. Mousumi Anam won the Ladies category, and Master Khan Fahan Ahmed won the Junior category.
Senior military officers of the Bangladesh Army, the Chief Executive Officer of the Army Golf Club, the Chairman of the Tournament Committee, members of the Executive Committee, and other dignitaries, along with players and media persons, were present at the closing ceremony.
