US Ambassador pays courtesy call on Chief Justice

US Ambassador Peter Haas Christensen paid a courtesy call on Chief Justice of Bangladesh Zubair Rahman Chowdhury. The US Ambassador said he was honored to participate in the meeting.

During the meeting, the Chief Justice outlined his future plans for the development and modernization of the judiciary. In addition, various initiatives taken to make the judicial system of Bangladesh more effective, independent and strong were also discussed.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on potential areas for strengthening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the United States, especially cooperation in the legal and judicial sectors.
