UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Saturday attended a roundtable on building national unity at a hotel in Dhaka. The meeting was attended by members of the National Consensus Building Commission and top political leaders of the country.
The meeting discussed national unity, democratic progress and the future political stability of Bangladesh. Participants exchanged views on the country’s political situation, electoral system and the need for multilateral cooperation for a prosperous Bangladesh.
