UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah Ali Al Hamoudi met Trade Advisor Sheikh Bashiruddin.

The meeting was held in the Trade Advisor’s office room at the Secretariat on Wednesday (April 30, 2025) afternoon.

In the meeting, they discussed in detail the development of bilateral relations, export of skilled manpower, visa issuance, trade and investment, and cooperation.

The Trade Advisor said that remittances sent by expatriates working in various countries, including the UAE, are very important for the economy of Bangladesh. Remittances sent by expatriates are playing a role in the socio-economic development of the country.

Noting that Bangladeshis have investments in the UAE, the Trade Advisor said that the investment environment in Bangladesh is also currently good. The UAE government and businessmen from that country can benefit by taking advantage of investment opportunities in the economic zones of this country.
