Chief Whip of the Bangladesh National Parliament Md. Nurul Islam said that the news of the closure of the country’s only state-owned oil refinery Eastern Refinery PLC Limited located in Chittagong has been widely reported in the media. His main goal is the welfare of the people, building a humane state, establishing democracy and maintaining independence and sovereignty. In addition to doing all the necessary work to protect sovereignty, he is working to ensure the justice system in all areas.

Regarding the development of skilled human resources to create employment, the Chief Whip said, we want to educate people in many languages ​​so that we can create skilled people. Arabic should be learned to work in the Middle East, Mandarin for work in China, Italian for work in Italy, Korean for work in Korea and Japanese for work in Japan. However, he has definitely given importance to teaching English as a second language. Because it is a global language. The Education Minister will travel around the country to prepare a guideline in this regard and submit it to the Prime Minister.

Regarding the amendment of the constitution, he said, although there are currently some differences between us and the opposition party regarding the amendment of the constitution, we will all come to a consensus and bring a proposal together. Our main goal is to establish democracy, maintain independence and sovereignty, and work for the constructive development of the country. In Parliament, we want to thrive through discussion and criticism, and it is only a matter of time before we reach a consensus from a place of patriotism.
