On Tuesday (January 13, 2026), a 14-member delegation from the Turkish Aerospace Research Organization paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Director General Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud, SGP, BAM, NDU, AFWC, PSC. The delegation was led by Arif Ates, Director of the Flight Test Department of the organization. During the courtesy call, they exchanged cordial greetings and discussed various issues.

During the meeting, the Director General discussed the ongoing development activities of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, overall capacity building, modern training cooperation and continuity of future progress.

The delegation expressed deep interest in the force after being informed about the multi-dimensional social security system of the force and the scope of work with the potential of volunteers at the field level. They expressed their hope that the scope of mutual cooperation will be further expanded and strengthened in the future in the overall development-oriented initiatives of this large force. It is expected that this courtesy visit will play an important role in strengthening mutual relations between the two countries and opening new horizons of future cooperation.
