Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister pays courtesy call on Jamaat Ameer

Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who is visiting Dhaka, paid a courtesy call on him.

The courtesy call was held at the office of the Ameer-e-Jamaat in Bashundhara, the capital, at 3:30 pm today, Monday (October 6). A four-member high-level delegation led by Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Sen was present at the time.

The meeting was held in a very cordial and cordial atmosphere. In the meeting, both sides held constructive discussions on further strengthening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Turkey, expanding trade and commerce, increasing investment, humanitarian cooperation and developing diplomatic relations.

During this time, views were exchanged on the possibility of Turkish investment in various sectors in Bangladesh, deepening the brotherly relations between the people of the two countries and expanding the scope of mutual cooperation. It was hoped that the development and progress of both countries would accelerate in the future.

The Ameer-e-Jamaat was accompanied by the organization’s Secretary General, former Member of Parliament Professor Mia Golam Parwar, Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Central Publicity and Media Department Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair.
