Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Pays Courtesy Call on Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division

The Honorable Ambassador of Turkey to Bangladesh, Ramis Şen, paid a courtesy call on the Principal Staff Officer (PSO) of the Armed Forces Division (AFD), Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hasan, at Dhaka Cantonment on Thursday (February 13, 2025).

During the meeting, they discussed strengthening mutual defense cooperation between the two countries. Additionally, they exchanged views on military training, technology exchange, and potential areas of collaboration in the defense industry. This meeting is expected to play a crucial role in further solidifying the defense relations between the two nations.

Bangladesh and Turkey have a long-standing relationship that has been further deepened through cooperation in various sectors. Strengthening collaboration in the military and defense sectors is expected to further reinforce this relationship, according to relevant officials.
