A ‘Knowledge Sharing and Recognition Event’ was recently organized jointly by Trust Bank PLC and Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA). Members of BARVIDA, as well as representatives of various new car importers and assembler companies of the country, participated in the event.
Trust Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) Mr. Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Directors of the bank, Senior Executives and officials of the Retail Banking Division were present at the event. BarVIDA was represented by the organization’s President Mr. Haque, General Secretary Mr. Riaz Rahman, Senior Vice President-1, members of the executive committee and various car showroom owners.
Trust Bank MD and CEO Mr. Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury addressed the event. He said, “Trust Bank has always been committed to the development of the country’s automobile sector. We are working to advance this sector by providing fast and easy credit facilities to our customers, assisting in importing vehicles and participating in various activities of the related industry.”
Barvida President Mr. Haque, who owns Hawke’s Bay, thanked Trust Bank for this exceptional and collaborative initiative. He said, “This is a new experience for Barvida. By increasing mutual cooperation between the bank and the automobile sector, it is possible to ensure the welfare of all – customers, institutions and the economic sector.”
