The three service chiefs visited Gazipur on Tuesday (February 3, 2026) to assess the overall law and order situation and inspect the activities of the armed forces deployed under the ‘In Aid to Civil Power’ program, focusing on the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections and referendum-2026.

During the visit, along with the esteemed army and navy chiefs, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, BBP, OSP, GUP, NSWC, PSC, and Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, BBP, OSP, GUP, NSWC, PSC, also visited Gazipur. They participated in a high-level exchange of views organized at the conference room of the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI).

At the exchange of views, the service chiefs laid special emphasis on the overall security management of the elections, the activities of the field-level members, and effective coordination between the various agencies concerned. They urged the people to maintain complete impartiality at every stage of the election and to perform their duties with sincerity.

The chiefs of the armed forces also instructed them to maintain a citizen-friendly and patient attitude towards the general public, ensure the highest standards of professionalism, and perform their duties with strict discipline.

It is worth noting that senior military officials, high-ranking officials of various law enforcement agencies, and representatives of the civilian administration were present during the visit.
