The contribution of the brave freedom fighters of the police force in the great liberation war is unforgettable: GMP Commissioner

On Thursday (December 18, 2025), a reception was given to the brave freedom fighters of the police force at the conference room of the Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) Headquarters. The program was presided over by the Honorable Commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, Mr. Md. Israil Howlader.

The Police Commissioner said, “The contribution of the brave freedom fighters of the police force in the great liberation war is unforgettable in the history of the nation. It is because of their sacrifice and bravery that we got an independent state. Our deep respect and gratitude to the brave freedom fighters of the police will remain unwavering forever.”

Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations) of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, Mr. Mohammad Taherul Haque Chauhan, and senior police officers were present at the program.
