The Thai Ambassador to Dhaka attended the 67th ASEAN Dhaka Committee (ADC) Heads of Mission Meeting on Thursday (February 5, 2026). Ambassadors and senior embassy officials of various ASEAN countries based in Dhaka were present at the meeting.
The countries participating in the meeting included Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The meeting discussed various activities that can be jointly organized in 2026. At the same time, the recent political and economic situation of ASEAN member states was reviewed. The participants in the meeting reiterated their common commitment to further strengthen mutual cooperation in all fields.
It is worth noting that the ASEAN Dhaka Committee (ADC) serves as a collaborative platform among embassies of ASEAN member states located in third countries. The main objective of this committee is to enhance cooperation between ASEAN members and the host country and to strengthen public awareness about ASEAN in the host country.
