Technical and Madrasa Education Department ADP Review Meeting Held

A review meeting was held on the implementation progress of the Annual Development Program (ADP) of the Technical and Madrasa Education Department on Monday (March 30, 2026) at the Ministry of Education. Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon was present as the chief guest at the meeting.

The Education Minister called for implementing the development program with honesty and efficiency and not taking up unnecessary projects. The meeting discussed the modernization of existing institutions for technical education and the necessary new technical training institutions. Emphasis was placed on building model polytechnic institutes in line with the modern world.

In addition, the pros and cons of whether the four-year diploma course of the polytechnic institutes under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board can be reduced by one year to three years or not were also discussed.
