A fair titled “South Asia Trade Fair – 2025” will be inaugurated at the International Convention City Bashundhara in the capital on Thursday (September 18, 2025) at 11 am with the participation of SAARC countries. The fair will be inaugurated by Mr. Sheikh Bashiruddin, Honorable Advisor, Ministry of Commerce. The fair will feature a diverse range of products including ready-made garments and textiles, gems and jewelry, cosmetics, leather products, home appliances and kitchenware, processed food, electronics.
The fair is being organized by the joint initiative of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI). Business leaders including the Director of the SAARC Secretariat will be present at the event.
More than a hundred companies from South Asian countries will participate in the fair with their products and services. In addition to displaying products, participants will have the opportunity to join various thematic sessions and discussions, including business networking, B2B sessions. The fair will continue until September 21, 2025. The fair will be open to visitors from 11 am to 10 pm daily.
