Elected MP from Kishoreganj-6 constituency and BNP Organizing Secretary Md. Shariful Alam has taken oath as State Minister for Commerce Ministry; Industry Ministry; Textiles and Jute Ministry.
He took oath at a formal ceremony organized at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the capital, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Tuesday (February 17, 2026). High-ranking state officials, leaders of various political parties, diplomats, representatives of civil society and invited guests were present at the ceremony.
