Sammilito Parishad organized a discussion and exchange meeting titled “Amar Kotha” with SME and non-bond garment entrepreneurs on the occasion of BGMEA elections

A guideline discussion and exchange meeting “Amar Katha” was held with the participation of SME and non-bond garment entrepreneurs on the occasion of the upcoming BGMEA (Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association) elections.

The meeting was organized by Sammilito Parishad on Tuesday (27 May 2025) evening at the ballroom of Hotel Westin in Gulshan, the capital. The discussion meeting was moderated by entrepreneur Nazmul Haque Molla Badal.

The discussion meeting was attended by the panel leader of the Sammilit Parishad and owner of Chaiti Garments, Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, former president of BGMEA and managing director of Giant Group, Mr. Faruk Hasan, (managing director of Sparrow Apparels Limited) Mostazirul Shovon Islam, chairman of AC Shilpa Group and director of DBC Channel, Salauddin Chowdhury, managing director of Stylish Garments, Misha Chowdhury, senior leaders of the Sammilit Parishad and all the candidates of the panel.

The event was attended by members of BGMEA from different levels and a large number of small and medium industry entrepreneurs. In the meeting, they highlighted the various problems of SME and non-bonded garment entrepreneurs and discussed the solutions.

Panel leader Abul Kalam Azad said that if he wins the election, he will discuss with the entrepreneurs of small and medium industries and try to solve their problems as much as possible.
