Russian House in Dhaka Holds Visa Handover Ceremony for Students Bound for Studies in Russia

On Sunday (November 16, 2025), the Russian House in Dhaka held a formal ceremony to present passports with visas to Bangladeshi students admitted to Russian universities under the scholarship program of the Government of the Russian Federation. Approximately 40 students received their documents during the event.

The Director of the Russian House in Dhaka, Alexandra Khlevnoy, congratulated the future students and wished them success in their educational programs.

Teachers from The Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), currently visiting Bangladesh, conducted a briefing for the students on cultural adaptation and Russia’s climate specifics to help them adjust more easily to new living and study conditions.

The event marked an important stage in preparing the students for their departure to Russia and strengthened educational ties between the two countries.
