Dr. Md. Mokhles Ur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, visited the Xiaomi brand smartphone manufacturing factory run by Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park, Bangladesh Data Center Company and DBG Technology BD Limited in Kaliakoir, Gazipur on Friday (August 29, 2025).
Shiesh Haider Chowdhury, NDC, Secretary of the Information and Communication Technology Department, was present at the time. During the inspection, both officials reviewed the factory’s production process, technology use and quality control system on-site.
