The chief adviser of the interim government, Professor Muhammad Yunus, congratulated Donald Trump for being elected the 47th president of the United States. Professor Yunus congratulated Trump in a greeting message.
The Chief Adviser of the Interim Government on the US Elections said in a greeting message, ‘I am happy to congratulate you (Trump) on behalf of the Government and people of Bangladesh for your victory in the US Presidential Election 2024. Being elected to a second term as US President is a reflection of the American people being moved by your leadership and vision. I am confident that under your watch America will prosper and inspire others around the world.’
The message also said, ‘Bangladesh and America have a long history of friendship and cooperation in various fields of mutual interest. This relationship deepened during your previous term. I look forward to further strengthening our partnership and working together for sustainable development. I strongly believe that our two friendly countries have endless opportunities to work towards finding new ways of partnership.’
