Professor Mahbub Alam Majumdar, Dean of the School of Data and Computational Sciences, BRAC University, paid a courtesy call on Principal Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna on Monday (February 2, 2026).
During the meeting, the Principal Advisor congratulated Professor Mahbub Alam Majumdar for recently receiving the international recognition ‘Spirit of Salam Award 2026’. It is worth noting that this prestigious award is presented by the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP).
The award is given to honor individuals who have made exceptional contributions to science, education and capacity building in the developing world, embodying the ideals, values and legacy of Nobel laureate scientist Professor Abdus Salam.
