Referring to the efforts of the interim government to control prices throughout the month of Ramadan, Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, “We have taken all kinds of measures to strictly prevent supply chain disruptions throughout the month of Ramadan. Reports have come from all parts of the country that prices of commodities have decreased compared to before this Ramadan; people have found relief. This effort to control prices will continue.”
The Chief Advisor said this in his address to the nation on the occasion of Independence Day and the holy Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday (March 25, 2025) evening.
He said, the current government has taken strong measures to control prices since assuming office. The big challenge during Ramadan and Eid was to rein in the prices of goods and ensure power supply. We have tried our best to ensure that the prices of any product do not increase and power supply is not disrupted during this Ramadan.
