As part of its commitment to sustainable development, PRAN-RFL Group has launched the Dairy Value Chain Forum, a major initiative aimed at supporting farmers who work tirelessly every day to deliver high-quality products to consumers. This forum is part of the group’s broader strategy to invest in sustainable agriculture within its ecosystem.

Through this initiative, PRAN-RFL aims to formally integrate 10,000 dairy farmers into its supply chain—of which 8,000 are women. The program also targets capacity building for an additional 50,000 farmers in the southwestern region of Bangladesh and seeks to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 30%.
The Dairy Value Chain Forum marks a significant step toward creating a more inclusive, environmentally friendly, and sustainable dairy sector in Bangladesh. From insightful keynote presentations to interactive group discussions, the forum served as a vibrant platform for farmers, researchers, private sector leaders, and policymakers to unite under one goal—building a sustainable, resilient, and responsible dairy industry.

The event was graced by Dr. Md. Abu Sufian, Director General of the Department of Livestock Services, as the chief guest. Special guests included Anders B. Karlsen, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Denmark; Dr. Shakila Faruq, Director General of the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute; and Uzma Chowdhury, Director of Corporate Finance at PRAN-RFL Group.
The event also welcomed representatives from academia, government bodies, private organizations, and development agencies.
