The police have arrested housemaid Ayesha in connection with the murder of a mother and daughter in Mohammadpur in the capital. Today, Wednesday (December 10, 2025) at around 12 noon, housemaid Ayesha was arrested from Nalchiti in Jhalakati.
It is worth noting that the police recovered the bloody bodies of a mother and daughter from a house in Mohammadpur around noon last Monday. They are Laila Afroz (48) and her daughter Nafisa Lawal Binte Aziz (15).
