Pakistan PM meets Chief Adviser at UN

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the UN headquarters on Wednesday (September 24, 2025) on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the upcoming general elections in Bangladesh, the reform efforts undertaken by the interim government, the recent devastating floods in Pakistan, trade and investment, and prospects for regional cooperation.

Chief Adviser Professor Yunus expressed deep grief and heartfelt condolences for the loss of more than 1,000 lives in the recent floods in Pakistan.
