Opposition Leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Arrives in Japan on 7-day Visit

Hon’ble Opposition Leader of the Bangladesh National Parliament and Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, MP has arrived in Japan on a 7-day official visit.

He left for Japan from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 2:45 am on Saturday (May 2). He landed at Narita International Airport in Tokyo at 3:45 pm on the same day.

At the airport, he was warmly welcomed by the leaders of the organization, expatriate Bangladeshi businessmen and various professionals led by the Central President of Islamic Mission Japan Hafez Saber Ahmed.

He is accompanied by Saiful Alam Khan Milon, MP, Member of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, and Barrister Mir Ahmad Bin Kasem Arman, MP, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Opposition Leader.

During the visit, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will participate in receptions and various seminars organized by the Bangladeshi community in Japan. He is also scheduled to meet with high-level representatives of the Japanese government.
