On the occasion of International Women’s Day, North South University’s Career and Placement Center (CPC) organized an inspirational session on the role of women in career and leadership.

Barrister Rashna Imam, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh was present as the chief guest at the event. In her speech, she emphasized on increasing women’s leadership, professional skills and confidence and inspired the younger generation to lead in their respective fields.




The session featured special speakers Dr. Farzana Nahid, Director, Career and Placement Center (CPC), North South University; Dr. Nazlee Siddiqui, Professor and Director, MBA/EMBA Program, North South University; and Dr. Nazia Manzoor, Assistant Professor and Chairman, Department of English and Modern Languages, North South University.
The speakers in the discussion said that women’s empowerment and leadership development are crucial not only for personal development, but also for the sustainable progress of society and the state. They emphasized the importance of developing students’ skills, acquiring leadership qualities, and inspiring future generations.
