Newly constructed campus of Armed Forces War Course Wing inaugurated at Dhaka Cantonment

The newly constructed campus of Armed Forces War Course (AFWC) Wing at Dhaka Cantonment has been formally inaugurated. Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman, Chief of Navy Admiral Mohammad Nazmul Hasan and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hassan Mahmud Khan were present at the inauguration ceremony held on Monday (February 2).

The commencement of the Armed Forces War Course activities at this new campus is being considered as a significant step forward in enhancing the institutional capacity in strategic level education and training. This campus with modern facilities will play a helpful role in research-based education, professional and strategic exchange, and the development of joint operational understanding and integrated thinking among the middle-level officers of the Bangladesh Armed Forces.

In addition, it is expected that this campus will make an effective contribution to the development of future leadership through training in a learning-friendly and well-organized environment.

The Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division, the Quarter Master General (QMG) of the Bangladesh Army, the Commandant of the National Defense College, senior military and civilian officials, faculty members and staff officers of the National Defense College were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
