The launch of the first Chinese language competency standard and course accreditation document in Bangladesh is an important step in the education and skill development cooperation between the two countries, Prime Minister’s Advisor Md. Ismail Zabihullah has termed it an important step in the field of education and skill development cooperation between the two countries.
He said this at the closing ceremony of the ‘Validation Workshop on Competency Standards and Course Accreditation Document for the Chinese Language’ organized by the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) on Tuesday (August 25).

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen, NSDA Executive Chairman Dr. Nazneen Kawsar Chowdhury and other relevant officials were present at the event.
Ambassador Yao Wen congratulated the concerned parties for the official launch of Bangladesh’s first Chinese language competency standard and course accreditation document. He said that this workshop is a practical step in implementing the important consensus reached recently between the leaders of the two countries.
He said that China is keen to deepen educational exchanges and cooperation with Bangladesh. At the same time, a comprehensive support system will be further improved in the field of Chinese language education, so that learning Chinese becomes a benefit for the skills, employment opportunities and development of the youth of Bangladesh.
Advisor Md. Ismail Zabihullah mentioned the initiative to launch the first Chinese language proficiency standard and course accreditation document in Bangladesh as positive. He said that this workshop should be used as an opportunity to further deepen practical cooperation in various fields of the two countries.
He expressed hope that through such initiatives, cooperation between Bangladesh and China in various fields including skill development, education and employment will be further expanded and will be helpful in taking the relations between the two countries to new heights.
