Nestle’s role important in Swiss-Bangladesh trade: Swiss Ambassador

Reto Renggli, Swiss Ambassador to Bangladesh, was present at a special celebration event organized by Nestlé Bangladesh PLC on Tuesday (November 25, 2025) night.

At the event, the Ambassador praised Nestle’s successful journey in the Bangladesh market over the past decade, gaining consumer trust and their continuous contribution to the food and nutrition sector. He said that the Embassy’s close partnership with Swiss companies operating in Bangladesh is very valuable. The steadfast commitment of these institutions not only proves the strength of Swiss investment, but is also making a major contribution to important sectors of the Bangladesh economy.

The Ambassador also noted that such initiatives will play a helpful role in further strengthening Swiss-Bangladesh trade relations in the future.
