Nepalese Ambassador stresses strengthening Bangladesh-Nepal bilateral cooperation

Nepalese Ambassador to Dhaka Ghanshyam Bhandari paid a courtesy call on Bangladeshi State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid Islam.

In the meeting held at the State Minister’s Office on Sunday morning, Ambassador Shyam Bhandari congratulated the newly appointed State Minister and wished him success in discharging his duties.

During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Nepal. In particular, importance was placed on increasing cooperation in the trade, connectivity, energy, education and tourism sectors.

During this time, they also exchanged views on further strengthening mutual cooperation between the two countries in regional and multilateral forums.

Both sides expressed optimism about deepening and diversifying the existing friendly relations between Bangladesh and Nepal.
