National University holds first-year admission test for Bachelor’s (Honours) in the academic year 2025-2026

Diplomatic Desk:

The first-year admission test for Bachelor’s (Honours) in the academic year 2025-2026 under the National University was held on Saturday (April 25, 2026). The admission test began at 11 am in 138 centers across the country. The one-hour MCQ-based test ended at 12 noon.

National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Amanullah inspected the admission test held at Tongi Government College Center in Gazipur. He expressed satisfaction with the environment of the test at the center. In response to questions from media personnel, he said that the results of the admission test will be published soon. The admission process will begin immediately after that. Later, the Vice-Chancellor of the National University observed the admission test held at various centers across the country from the control room set up in the university’s ICT building.

This year, 453,148 candidates participated in the examination for admission to 880 colleges in the country. Of these, 375 were government colleges and 505 were private colleges. Out of the 138 examination centers, 18 were in Dhaka Metropolitan City, 27 in Dhaka Division, 13 in Barisal Division, 23 in Chittagong Division, 18 in Khulna Division, 17 in Rajshahi Division, 13 in Rangpur Division and 9 in Sylhet Division.
