Mr. Mustafa Sarwar Farooqui, Honorable Advisor to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, attended the ISESCO (ICESCO) Conference for Culture Ministers of the Islamic World held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday (February 12, 2025).

At the conference, the Cultural Advisor said that no culture is better or superior than another. It is just different.
The Advisor emphasized the importance of an active ISESCO and said that there is a need to build more effective and inclusive relations among member countries, which will help in building a creative economy and culture and arts in each member state.

At the beginning of his speech, the Advisor paid deep respect to the heroic Bangladeshis of the July Uprising.
The conference was inaugurated with a welcome speech by Saudi Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud. Then, OIC Secretary General Hussein Ibrahim Taha, UN Under-Secretary General Miguel Angel Moratinos, and many others spoke.
