Multipurpose Jute Fair and Competition organized by JDPC and H&H Foundation: To be held on November 26-30 at Tejgaon

The Jute Diversification Promotion Center (JDPC) under the Ministry of Textiles and Jute has organized the Multipurpose Jute Fair, Photography and Essay Competition 2024. The fair will be inaugurated by Brigadier General (Retd) Dr. M Sakhawat Hossain.

JDPC Executive Director (Additional Secretary) Zeenat Ara, JDPC Director (Joint Secretary, Jute) Mr. Md. Moshiur Rahman, H&H spoke at a press conference organized at Jute Diversification Promotion Center (JDPC) on Monday (November 4, 2024). The founder of the foundation Mr. M. Safak Hossain is the founder and the founder of Public Speaking Official Mr. Md. Solaiman Ahmed Zeesan.

The fair will be held at the JDPC premises in Manipuri Para of Tejgaon in the capital from November 26 to November 30.

JDPC Executive Director Zeenat said that the fair is being held to increase the use of jute and jute products and encourage people to use them. The government has taken initiatives to introduce jute and other products as alternatives to silt. This fair will be organized in different parts of the country.

Regarding the writing and photography competition, H&H Foundation president M Safak Hossain said that while writing an essay (between 1,000 and 3,000 words) on jute, the contestants will know more about jute and will be interested. For this, registration can be done through the pages of the Ministry, JDPC and H&H Foundation. The production and entire supply chain of jute will be depicted in the exhibition through photography.

Event Express, Public Speaking Official, Entrepreneurs Club of Bangladesh, BDPG are other collaborating partners for the successful implementation of this competition.
