Under Section 17 of Trade Organizations Act 2022, Muhammad Saeed Ali, Deputy Secretary, Central Digital Cell, Ministry of Commerce, has been appointed as the administrator of E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (E-CAB).
This information was informed in an order signed by the Additional Secretary (Director General of Trade Organizations) Dr. Nazneen Kausar Chowdhury of the Ministry of Commerce on Wednesday (September 11, 2024).
The order states that the appointed administrator shall notify the ministry within 120 (one hundred and twenty) days of handing over responsibility to the selected committee through a fair and impartial election.
