Ms. Nasreen Jahan, Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary inspects development projects at Cox’s Bazar Airport

Ms. Nasreen Jahan, Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism visited Cox’s Bazar district on Friday (May 2, 2025).

During her visit, Cox’s Bazar Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate, Mr. Mohammad Salahuddin, Chairman of the Private Aviation Authority, Air Vice Marshal Mr. Md. Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan, Project Director Md. Yunus Bhuiyan and others were present.

The Secretary inspected the runway expansion project at Cox’s Bazar Airport and the international passenger terminal building construction project at Cox’s Bazar Airport as part of the initiative to upgrade Cox’s Bazar Airport to an international airport.

In addition, she inspected the houses of local people on the spot and gave instructions to the concerned parties for the legal resolution of land acquisition-related complications.
