In a significant development for international cooperation and strategic engagement in Bangladesh, Mohammad Ali has been officially appointed as the Director and Country Head of the Europe Bangladesh Federation of Commerce and Industry (EBFCI) in Bangladesh.
Mr. Ali received his official Certificate of Directorship during a formal inauguration ceremony of EBFCI- Bangladesh held in Baridhara, Dhaka, on June 25. The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Dr. WaliTasar Uddin MBE DBA JP, President of EBFCI, who presented the certificate. Also present were Mr. Asad Islam, Foreign Secretary, and His Excellency Michael Miller, Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to Bangladesh.
In his new role, Mr. Ali is entrusted with the full authority to oversee and manage all EBFCI operations within Bangladesh. This includes serving as a liaison between EBFCI and the European Union Delegation, as well as with the embassies and high commissions of EU member states represented in the country. He is also authorized to represent EBFCI in official dealings with the Government of Bangladesh and its various agencies, while strictly adhering to EBFCI’s organizational protocols and policies.
Mohammad Ali, who is also the Chairman of Alif’s Engineering, brings with him a diverse and impactful professional background. He began his career in the hospitality sector, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the youngest General Managers in the industry. Over the years, he has established a reputation for excellence in business management, administration, sales and marketing, and has also made notable contributions in the fields of interior design, furniture manufacturing, and hospitality services.
His leadership at Alif’s Engineering reflects a forward-thinking approach and a strong commitment to innovation and quality. Beyond his business pursuits, Mr. Ali is actively involved in community and social initiatives. He is a dedicated member of both the Rotary Club Uttara and Junior Chamber International (JCI), where he contributes to social development and networking initiatives.
