Maldives calls for strengthening tourism cooperation at Asian Tourism Fair in Dhaka

High Commissioner of Maldives to Bangladesh Sheunin Rashid attended the inaugural ceremony of the 12th Asian Tourism Fair held in Dhaka as a special guest. Speaking at the event, he emphasized the growing tourism partnership between Bangladesh and Maldives and said that Bangladesh is an emerging and important source market for Maldives in South Asia.

He highlighted opportunities for cooperation in sustainable tourism, training in the hospitality sector and increasing connectivity. ‘Visit Maldives’ is participating in the fair along with the High Commission. The Maldives cordially invites Bangladeshi tourists to experience the ‘Sunny Side of Life’.
