Malaysia’s unwavering dedication to Bangladesh’s digital transformation journey is exemplified by the recent inauguration of EDOTCO Bangladesh’s state-of-the-art 5G-ready Tower Operation Center (TOC) in Dhaka. It was inaugurated by Malaysian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Mohammad Shuhada Othman. As a Government-Linked Company (GLC) under Axiata Group Berhad, EDOTCO Bangladesh has been a key player in enhancing the country’s telecommunications infrastructure and promoting sustainable connectivity.

With a network of over 18,000 telecom towers, EDOTCO Bangladesh has significantly contributed to bridging the digital divide and connecting underserved communities across the nation. Through innovative and sustainable solutions, the company remains committed to supporting Bangladesh’s vision of becoming a regional digital hub.

His Excellency Mohd Shuhada Othman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh, reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to sharing expertise and collaborating with stakeholders to accelerate Bangladesh’s connectivity goals.
