Gazipur Metropolitan BNP General Secretary M Manjurul Karim Roni has taken the initiative to organize a month-long Iftar for the orphans, helpless, homeless and underprivileged people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. This has been organized at the traditional Bhawal Rajbari ground in Gazipur, where countless people will get the opportunity to have Iftar together every day.
On the first day of Ramadan, Manjurul Karim Roni himself held an Iftar with people from different classes and professions.
The locals have welcomed this great initiative and many are participating in it spontaneously. By organizing this month-long Iftar, an example of humanity has been set among the helpless and distressed people of Gazipur.
