M.A. Quader (Anu) Elected President of Gulshan Club

M.A. Quader (Anu), Deputy Managing Director and Group CEO of DBL Group, has been elected as the President of Gulshan Club Limited for the 2024-25 term.

The election was held on Saturday during the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Board of Directors election. M.A. Quader secured 523 votes, defeating his closest competitor, Anwar Rashid, who received 381 votes.

The newly elected board members include Mehedi Hasan (958), Mahbubul Haque Sufian (946), Khandaker Ahsanuzzaman (872), Nafisa Tarannum (865), Engineer Zahid Hossain (860), Mehjabin Bhuiyan (855), Md. Arafatur Rahman Apel (839), Engineer Md. Mehedi Hasan (822), and joint winners Novera Ayesha Zaman and Mehedi Malek Sajib (784 each).

Established in December 1978 by local residents, Gulshan Club is now registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms as Gulshan Club Limited. Membership is typically exclusive to residents of Gulshan, Banani, and Baridhara areas, with a few exceptions.
