Local Government Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan inaugurated the referendum-related meeting and voting vehicles in Kishoreganj district

Local Government Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan, speaking as the chief guest at the ‘Separate Exchange of Views on Referendum with Heads of Various Government Departments and NGO Representatives and Beneficiaries of Kishoreganj District’ meeting held at the Kishoreganj District Commissioner’s Conference Room today (January 19, 2026), said that Bangladesh will not go backwards anymore. With the victory in the referendum on February 12, disappearances, murders and fascism will end from the country.

Local Government Department Secretary Md. Rezaul Maksud Zahedi; Superintendent of Police Dr. SM Farhad Hossain and officials from various levels of the district also spoke at the exchange of views chaired by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Aslam Mollah.

District Election Officer Mohammad Morshed Alam gave a presentation on the campaign activities and election preparations of Kishoreganj district on the occasion of the referendum.

Then the Local Government Advisor inaugurated the voting vehicle activities at the Kuliarchar Upazila ground in Kishoreganj district. On the same day, the Advisor attended the information meeting organized by Bajitpur Upazila Administration on the occasion of Referendum 2026 and inspected various development projects of Kishoreganj district implemented by LGED and DPHE.
